RATU Kadavulevu School (RKS) recorded a 94 per cent pass rate for the Year 13 external examination. In a statement, president of the RKS Old Scholar Association (RKSOSA) Alipate Naiorosui said this was a significant achievement for the Tailevu-based boarding school and their new principal.
“On behalf of the RKSOSA in Fiji and abroad, I wish to congratulate the RKS principal, teachers, PGTA and Year 13 students for setting a new record for 94 per cent pass rate in 2022 as compared with 63 per cent in 2020,” Mr Naiorosui said.
“RKS is now in the top 10th national ranking compared with 110th the previous year.” Mr Naorosui said the RKSOSA fully supports the principal and his vision to bring back the ‘RKS glory in academic and sports’ that RKS has been known for in past years. “We wish to also acknowledge the hard work of the year 2000 decade for its support over the years.
“As president, we will continue to support our beloved school and I call upon the RKSOSA members for their continuous support and work in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, PTGA, principal and other stakeholders in lifting the standards and quality of education at RKS in years to come.”
