People are fed up of the FijiFirst party’s false promises, says National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad.

Speaking to supporters at a rally in Lautoka, Prof Prasad highlighted a number of failed projects that the FijiFirst Government have yet to deliver.

“Everywhere we go people are telling us they are fed up of what Frank Bainimarama and Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum are telling us,” he said.

“They are fed up of the personal attacks on me and Rabuka.

“They are fed up with their false promises. Here in Lautoka, the $12 million swimming pool.

“Do you remember the promises at the Lovu Seaside squatter settlement? Do you remember Tomuka squatter settlement?

“I remember a former Local Government Minister called Parveen Bala who went to Lovu Seaside and said this is where we are going to get the land, we are going to fix this.

“After four years, they are still talking about it.

“I know in Lautoka, you have a problem with termites, houses are falling apart and people are struggling to fix their houses.

“They are not talking about that.”

The NFP leader said during their current campaign, the FijiFirst leaders were making more promises.

“They don’t want to talk about that so they talk about Sitiveni Rabuka and Biman Prasad.”
